Review of VeggieTales: Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men

The creators of VeggieTales have done it again with their latest movie, Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men. First, I have said it before and it is worth repeating, as a parent I love a movie that the entire family finds entertaining, teaches a good lesson or two and that I know-right out of the box-is going to be 100% kid friendly for all ages. My kids have grown up with the VeggieTales and they still love them-even in their tweens.

VeggieTales: Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men Review

We loved the movie-great stories (there’s an additional short story, Lenny & the Lost Birthday, on the DVD), colorful graphics, catchy songs and great lessons about God and our lives. It is exactly what you should expect from a VeggieTales movie and if you have never watched a Veggie Tales movie, this would be a great title to start your collection. All VeggieTales movies seem to have a great balance of solid faith based life lessons, silly songs, funny characters and jokes that make them perfect for full family viewing. As a mom, I admit that there are some movies that our kids watch that I just can not sit through, but VeggieTales movies are just the opposite. Be sure to add this DVD to your collection-the kids watch it over and over again! We like to watch the feature then sing with the sing-a-longs together-on this DVD there are 2: one from VeggieTales: Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men and the other from Lenny & the Lost Birthday. Also included on the DVD is the Silly Music Video for Bubble Rap-fun and just as silly as you would expect.
